Reaching the goal of completely funding the July Fourth Fireworks and Harbor Illumination is a big job and it takes a lot of money. Right now, the committee is only two-thirds of the way home, so they need your help.

This is a completely volunteer effort since the Town stopped asking citizens to fund the fireworks display through taxes. Chairman Andrew Falk was quoted in the Marblehead Reporter as saying, we are hopeful that you will consider a donation, or increasing your donation if you have already given. We have just a short time to raise the remaining funds, so your prompt attention to this matter is greatly appreciated.
Fireworks companies need reservations and payment well in advance and the competition for the best firms is intense. Raising the money in a timely way allows our Committee to get in at the front of the line.
