School Committee changes its construction process

September 3, 2011

Hoping to avoid another round of accusations and state reprimands, the School Committee, led by Dr. Maass’s recommendations has instituted a policy of strict change order review. Maas or School Building Committee chairman Dick Nohelty must approve all changes of $25,000 or less and anything over that must be reviewed by the building committee, a recommendation voted, and forwarded to the school committee with a recommendation. It won’t be as easy to get changes through this year. As it should be.
