Boat fire at Village Street dock

July 27, 2012

No one is talking about how or why but the fire is not in dispute. At or around 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday night, a small boat “near” the wharf burst into flames that were visible for miles. The Marblehead Fire Department extinguished the flames. A couple was interviewed on the scene1 but the chief would not discuss whether they were involved or not.

So, a boat burned to the water at Village Street. End of story.
